Mechanical Design and Build of Laboratory Test Equipment

A manufacturer of fiber-optic instruments was developing a new piece of equipment. He wanted to have his new opto-electronic parts tested by an external company before he finished the design of the actual commercial product.

For this, he needed to have a test setup built.

To help this manufacturer, a basic laboratory prototype was built.

A larger encloure was chosen to fit the manufacturers laser and spectrometer, together with an additional power and extra interfacing needed by the external validating company.
