Hydraulic Tube Fitting Pressing Machines

These assembly machines were designed and built for a company that made hydraulic tube and hose assemblies.

For a new product, new assembly machines were needed to press steel fittings onto tubes. Another machine was needed to attach mounting blocks and hoses to the completed tubes.

The new pressing machine was made to handle tube length variations much better than the existing machine.

In the design of these machines not only the parts and company work flow were taken into account, but especially also the ergonomics. By integrating holders for tubes and horizontal areas for parts and tools into the machines, the number of movements was reduced greatly compared to the client’s existing assembly machines. The unfinished parts could now be placed in, and on, the assembly machines.
